I can walk on my ankle, although I can feel a bit of pain and would rather sit. How do I treat it at home?

The R.I.C.E. method is recommended: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Avoid putting weight on the injured ankle, apply cold packs, wear a bandage or brace for support, and elevate the ankle above heart level when possible.
