Dr Guruparan Rajalingam is a distinguished General Practitioner with a rich educational and professional background.

He obtained his MBBS from the esteemed Kasturba Medical College Manipal, under the University of Mangalore, in 1987.

Dr. Rajalingam's medical career commenced with a housemanship at Hospital Melaka from 1996 to 1997.

He then served as a Medical Officer at Hospital Sultanah Aminah from 1997 to 2000.

Since 2000, he has been dedicatedly practicing general medicine, currently serving at Poliklinik Impian, located in Taman Impian Emas, Johor.

His commitment to the medical field extends beyond his practice. Dr Rajalingam is an active member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).

He has held various prestigious roles within the association, including serving on the Schomos Committee since 1996, being an MMA member since 1997, and holding the position of PPS Chairman for Johor during 2013-2015 and from 2019 onwards.

He was the MMA Chairman from 2015 to 2017, and he notably contributed as the Treasurer for the National AGM in Johor in 2014.

His involvement continued as a Committee Member for MMA Johor from 2017 to 2021 and as Vice Chairman from 2021 to 2023.

Additionally, Dr. Rajalingam has contributed to the legal field by serving on the Disciplinary Committee of the Johor Bar Council from 2015 to 2019.

His specialised training includes managing heroin dependants and advocating diabetic lifestyle changes.
