Dr. Lennie Soo has suffered from sciatica pain since she was in her late twenties. She then broke her neck in a freak accident in 2006 which almost killed her. In the aftermath, she was bedridden for some months. Her doctors were not sure if she would walk again.

However, with the strong support of her family and friends and her own strong desire to live, she recovered slowly but surely. She also managed to learn to walk again. But all this time she would be living in pain that she controlled with pain killers.
