Dr Navdeep Kaur is a highly passionate and meticulous doctor with 27 years of experience.

Her journey into the field of Medicine started in 1996 when she graduated with an MBBS medical degree from MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education), India.

She returned to Malaysia in 1997 after completing a 1-year compulsory internship in various departments at Manipal Hospital along with other district medical postings.

In Malaysia, her first posting was in University Hospital Kuala Lumpur (UHKL) where she rotated through various departments to complete her housemanship in 1 year.

From then onwards, she had gained many learning experiences and medical challenges at various hospitals and clinics both in the government and private settings.

As Dr Navdeep had a special interest in Dermatology , she went on to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care Dermatology in 2011 which was jointly awarded by AFPM (Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia) and The Institute of Dermatology in Bangkok.

During the course, she had the privilege to see and study many dermatology patients at the Institute in Bangkok where she was attached for a month.

She then went on to study basics in Aesthetics in 2012 and obtained a certificate in Level 1 Aesthetic Medicine which was awarded by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (A3M)

Her journey into Integrative Medicine came about through her own personal experience when her mother was diagnosed with a very rare cancer back in 2017.

She was not keen for her mother to go through conventional cancer treatment because of their long-term side effects and what it does to the body’s immune system.

Her mother went through vigorous lifestyle changes combined with various modalities of integrative cancer management. Today she has no regrets of making that decision back then as her mother has been cancer free since.

In 2018, her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and that’s when she met Dr Radha Krishna, the founder and epigenetic trainer of The Epigenetic Academy.

Through Dr Radha’s teachings and guidance using cutting edge insights into the field of epigenetics, Dr Navdeep along with Dr Radha’s support, managed to stabilise her father’s symptoms without any worsening of the disease till this very day.

Similarly, her mother too saw great improvement with Dr Radha’s treatment protocol after being diagnosed with heart blockages.

From then onwards, Dr Navdeep realised how several lifestyle factors could modify epigenetic patterns which could then determine and influence one’s health and longevity and what needs to be done to help reverse certain chronic illnesses.

As diet and nutrition was one of the simplest modifiable lifestyle factors in improving health, she went on to obtain a Certificate in Nutritional Medicine awarded by SAHAMM ( Society for the Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine, Malaysia) in 2018.

In the same year, she had the privilege to join the Epigenetic Academy which further trained her to obtain a profound and in depth knowledge and cutting edge insights into the field of epigenetics, a highly specialised division of molecular medicine.

Dr Navdeep is an active member of MMA (Malaysian Medical Association), SAHAMM ( Society for the Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine, Malaysia), MAAFIM (Malaysian Association Of Advancement of Functional & Interdisciplinary Medicine) and The Epigenetic Academy where she regularly attends conferences, seminars and workshops to further enhance her knowledge and keep abreast with the latest developments in the fields of Integrative and Functional Medicine.

Currently Dr Navdeep runs a TeleWellness consultations at Deep Wellness Solutions in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, providing both virtual and/or physical consultations, delivery of supplements and ongoing investigations, treatment and care.
